ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Food Innovation Asia Conference 2017 will provide opportunity to meet and share experiences as well as strengthen networking among international food scientists and scientists in related fields from academia, government and food industries. The objective is to highlight significant developments in research and innovations in food science and technology with an emphasis on innovative ASEAN food research towards the World. The conference will feature a series of presentations and discussions in plenary, concurrent and poster sessions, informal gatherings, competitions and exhibitions.

Sensory and Consumer Research Joint Symposium 2017 is hosted by Department of Product Development, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University; Thailand Sensory Network (TSN); Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University and the Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT).
The symposium will provide updates in sensory and consumer sciences by the leading experts in these fields.  It also offers the opportunity for all delegates to present their latest works to better understand an important challenge for sensory and consumer science.

Topics covered include:

   • Basic research in sensory science
   • Sensory science and health
   • Developments in sensory measures and food choices
   • Consumer research
   • Cross-cultural impacts on food preference
   • Applications of sensory methods
   • Sensory and consumer research in non-food products

Asia-Pacific Food Security Joint Symposium 2017 brings together all leading food scientists and food professionals to exchange knowledge and experience in area of postharvest, food production and processing, food safety, food policy or any related issue regarding to security of food. The symposium is one day, and consists of lectures from top international leading keynote, invited speakers as well as academic presentation session. All participants who interested in the symposium are welcomed.
